Garden Updates

The corner garden. The shell ginger is still struggling in the late afternoon. It usually perks up in the morning. The sweet potato vine is definitely not struggling. The purple queen looks sparce in comparison, but by next year it will be lush and full - just look at the pool garden. Along the fence I added pink vinca to bring in the color of the crinum. I didn't know that the crinum would bloom when I planted them, much less what color they were. It has thrown off my plan, because the pink clashes with the red, but I love the crinum so much that I think the red cannas and the ti plants will be going next year. Bring on the pink!
